Discussion List
The Three Rings team operates a discussion list which is open to all current users of the Three Rings service, as well as to validated prospective new users. This provides a forum for Three Rings users to get in touch with one another to discuss ideas for new features, find out about how other organisations are making use of Three Rings, and discover new ways of working.
Membership to the list can be granted under either of the following conditions:
- To a current user of Three Rings, on the e-mail address registered on their Three Rings "Directory" page.
- To validated prospective administrators of Three Rings at organisations considering Three Rings as a solution.
The discussion list takes the form of an e-mail list: any e-mail sent by a list member to a special e-mail address is shared with all other members of the list. You may need to configure your spam-filter to ensure that messages are not incorrectly filtered.
List Rules
- While Three Rings staff are among the subscribers to the list, the list is only loosely-moderated. Views expressed on the discussion list do not represent the opinion of Three Rings.
- The list may put you in contact with volunteers at other organisations who may or may not be publicly-known to be involved with their volunteer work. Please respect the anonymity of other list users. If in doubt, assume that other list users would prefer to remain anonymous within the list.
- The discussion list does not represent an offical channel for technical support. Please contact your local support volunteers or Technical Support if you have any technical problems with Three Rings.
- All new members will be introduced to the list by their name and the organisation to which they belong. If you are not happy to have your name shared with the list in this way, do not join.
